Battery life versus update frequency
More frequent reporting can use more battery. Long battery-life figures usually depend on a particular reporting schedule and operating conditions. We will explain expected updates, maintenance and battery replacement rather than promise continuous live tracking from every device.
Self-powered is not a monitoring category
It describes the power source, not whether a device is professionally monitored or accepted by an insurer. If your policy specifies an approved tracker, give us the wording so we can check the exact model and installation.
